Suzie’s entire 20+ years in physical therapy has been exclusively in pediatrics. Prior to co-owning ProActive, she was fortunate to work with both an outpatient pediatric clinic for eight years and the area education agency (AEA) doing home visits for 10 years.  

Suzie has extensive experience working with families to unlock each and every child’s full potential, from preemies to older children. Throughout her career as a pediatric PT she has become increasingly passionate about serving infants and toddlers and helping to establish the early building blocks of motor development. Suzie prides herself on thinking outside the box and working closely with each family to tailor an individualized and collaborative treatment approach with each child’s team. Suzie specializes in torticollis, tummy time, tongue tie, head shape and milestones for babies from birth through walking.

Suzie is trained in Mary Massery, Baby Jaws- breathing, TOTS (Tethered Oral Tissues), TMR-tots and teen 1 and 2, Precthl General Movement Assessment (GMA), Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT – Gillespie Approach) MNRI, and has extensive continuing education in topics such as infant treatment, NDT, visual motor skills, and sensory processing. She is also a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). She has specialized training in spinal stimulation and functional electrical stimulation for treating infants and children with Spina bifida or cerebral palsy.
