Brady was born and raised right here in Cedar Rapids. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Iowa in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master’s degree in Speech- Language Pathology from St. Ambrose University.
She has experience working with numerous disorders with varying etiologies, such as expressive and receptive language disorders, phonological and articulation disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavior disorders, executive function difficulties, stuttering, oral motor impairments, complex communication needs, dysphasia, traumatic brain injuries, and neurodegenerative disorders. Brady also has provided interventions for individuals with hearing loss and has knowledge of American Sign Language.
Brady has been trained in SOS Approach to Feeding and in the use of Visual Phonics®: See the Sounds as well as MNRI® (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration) Archetype Movement Integration. Brady has also been trained in myofunctional therapy and taken advanced courses in orofacial myofunctional disorder. Brady has had additional continuing education in Autism Spectrum Disorder, motor speech disorders, sensory processing/regulation and gestalt language processing. Brady is a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
It brings her joy collaborating with families to help them reach their speech, language, and feeding goals for their child.
